November 2007

November happily begins with Mercury, retrograde since October 11, going forward at 6 PM CDT on November 1. The wheels of life now turn in forward motion. All those silly situations that make us want to pull our hair out fade into the sunset. Challenges that seemed insurmountable now melt. Mechanical stuff that sputtered for no reason gets fixed. However, we are in the shadow of Mercury retrograde period until the 18^th so take your time restarting your engines.

Just when you thought the coast was clear; Mars, in Cancer, goes retrograde November 15 to January 30. While Mars is retrograde all are warned against taking unnecessary risks. Many of us will want to prove our stamina or prowess by taking dares that test our strength and good sense. Tempers will be shorter than usual and many of us will want to start a fight. Those who start the fight almost always lose while Mars is retrograde. The days ahead are no time to seek revenge or act in a reckless fashion. And above all else make sure your fashion is not worthy of a red carpet worst list. Rash behavior goes nowhere while Mars is retrograde.

Mars turns retrograde in Cancer, but backs into Gemini December 31. People born in the first twelve days of any sign are most affected through the end of the year. Throughout, January 2008 those born during the last seven days of all signs are most affected by Mars’ antics.

Uranus, retrograde in Pisces, since June 23, moves forward November 24. Uranus rules Aquarius which rules our life goals and our desire to help one another. While Uranus was retrograde we have been considering how we can reach our goals. Once Uranus moves forward we are able to put our plans for bettering our lives and the lives of others into motion. Whenever Uranus goes direct there is a shift of energy which can result in sudden jolts and accidents. Aquarius, Scorpio, Taurus, and Leo are especially warned to avoid dropping the good crystal or falling.

Adding to the intensity of Uranus going direct is the full Moon also November 24. This full Moon occurs in Gemini at 8:30 AM CDT. Gemini is an air sign and it is hard to contain air. This peak of the lunar cycle has many of us all over the place in our thoughts and actions. This full Moon is square the nodes of the Moon adding further angst to our emotional well being. The full Moon is also square Saturn. Many of us will be stressed by difficult situations that are further augmented by the fullness of the Moon. Mercury square Neptune adds more fuel to shoot us into confusion and spacey feelings. Slow down and take a breath. What may seem urgent to you is most likely not the case. This is not the time to make big life shifts. Most decisions will be made based on emotions that are not stable. Do not try to make others bend to your way of thinking with emotional blackmail.

As November progresses we begin to feel the effects of Jupiter beginning to conjunct Pluto in Sagittarius December 11. Jupiter rules expansion, economics and the world stage while Pluto rules big business and powerful entities. This powerful aspect is a precursor to the world changes that Pluto in Capricorn brings to our world beginning late January 2008. Pull back on your risks and keep an eye both your investments and those who are giving you advice. We are already seeing the financial systems wincing at the follies of mortgage markets. More economic changes are on the horizon. Aries and Leo will be able to ride this wave easily while Scorpio, Pisces, Gemini, and Virgo are wise to circle their wagons in preparation for the coming changes. November 4
The Sun in Scorpio is trine Mars in Cancer. Asserting ourselves goes well. Put the push on situations that have recently been on hold. Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces are especially blessed with the energy to get a point across without making someone angry.

November 5
Venus in Virgo is ninety degrees from Pluto in Sagittarius. It becomes evident that change must happen in one or more of our relationships. Remain calm in the face of disappoints in one or more person. The reality that something is not right is not easy to face especially for Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces, and Gemini.

November 7
The Sun, still in Scorpio is trine Uranus in Pisces. This fun and exciting aspect has us feeling that we must go on an odyssey of discovery. Scorpio, Pisces, and Cancer must get out and experience life as opposed to playing couch potato.

November 8
Venus enters Libra until December 5. Venus rules Libra adding an extra punch to this transit. Our attentions now turn to the beautiful side of life. Art culture and love are on our minds. Many of us will be turning our attention toward planning weddings. Relationships should go well, for the most part, for Libra, Aquarius, and Gemini. Capricorn, Aries, and Cancer will have to avoid codependence or other unsuitable behavior. This is no time to fall in love with what you think someone can become in the future. A realistic approach to love must be maintained.

Additionally, Mercury, now direct in Libra, is sixty degrees from Pluto in Sagittarius. Mercury, recently retrograde, has been causing data and details to be withheld or unclear. This aspect brings deeper meanings and hidden stuff up to be aired. If you are sitting on a secret that you do not want to come out; then you better be holding on tight to your seat.

November 9
The new Moon occurs in Scorpio at 5:03 PM CDT. This is the first new Moon we have experienced without Mercury retrograde since September 11. At last we can get back to making new stuff happen. Since this new Moon is in Scorpio we will want to begin shared financial situations. Intimate bonding is ready to happen. This is not a bad time to start tax planning for next April. Since Scorpio rules our psychological self many can begin digging deep inside to understand personal motivations.

November 11
Mercury enters Scorpio until December 1. Remember that Mercury entered Scorpio September 27 and then turned retrograde October 11 ultimately backing into Libra. Now that Mercury is back in Scorpio our words and deeds go back to being deep and passionate. Think before speaking as words can be very hurtful while Mercury moves through Scorpio. Leo, Aquarius, and Taurus are especially prone to saying the wrong thing. Gemini and Aries are wise to use caution while commuting as Mercury is out to play mean tricks on their cars and their attention span.

Additionally, the Sun in Scorpio is ninety degrees from Neptune in Aquarius. This aspect creates the need to lie on the couch. Take time off especially if you are Scorpio or Aquarius. The confusion can be draining and any decision is not favorable now; unless the decision includes to salt or not to salt the popcorn.

November 16
Mercury, now in Scorpio, is sixty degrees from Saturn in Virgo. With Mercury transiting intense Scorpio use this influence to consider situations in your life and aspects of yourself that need to be transformed.

November 19
Venus, now in Libra, is ninety degrees from Mars retrograde in Cancer. Plus, Mercury is one hundred twenty degrees from Mars. Love relationships must be handled with care over the next several days. Many of us will overreach our grasp. Courageous acts and pushy behavior will not necessarily be rewarded. It is okay to be self confident but do use good sense as the odds are not stacked on the favorable side.

November 21
Mercury is now one hundred twenty degrees from Uranus about to go direct in Pisces. This mentally stimulating aspect is great for educational trips. Pisces and Scorpio can easily get away with playing hooky.

November 22
The Sun enters optimistic Sagittarius until December 21. While the Sun moves through Sagittarius our sense of optimism and hope for the coming holidays puts a spark in our hearts. Aries and Leo are blessed with good angles from the Sun at this time of year while Virgo, Gemini, and Pisces are stressed to get a head start planning for the coming seasonal festivities.

November 26
Venus in Libra is one hundred twenty degrees from Neptune in Aquarius. Our sense of spiritual connection has many of us wanting to help others thus helping ourselves. Libra, Aquarius, and Gemini are full of good ideas that express goodwill.

November 30
The Sun, now in Sagittarius, is ninety degrees from Saturn in Virgo. In the past few days our attentions have turned toward optimism and smiley faces. This bump in the road day is not permanent. Many of us will be faced with realities that must be considered before jumping into any situation feet first. Low energy will be the norm. Do not hesitate to ask for a helping hand, but do be ready to be denied that help.

Scorpio
Broken promises begin to resolve as the month progress to the 12^th. Scorpios who have been uncertain about which road to take get a green light for a specific direction.
