We woke up on January 1 ready to get started with our New Years projects. Mars retrograde until January 30 and then Mercury retrograde until February 18 both had us stymied because nothing seemed to get going. At last this month we are out of the doldrums and ready to tackle new beginnings. Hold off on your new projects just a bit longer. Once we get to the March 7 new Moon in Pisces at 11:14 am CST we are at last ready to run a new race. This new Moon is occurs sixty degrees from Jupiter and conjunct Uranus. At that time we have the green light to move forward with presentations and negotiations. Many of us at last will be able to move on our plans.

Mars enters Cancer March 4 until May 9. Mars is assertive and Cancer is our need for security. In the days ahead; Cancer, Capricorn, Aries, and Libra will be making bold decisions and taking progressive actions. Many of them will have to deal with tough people who oppose their bravado. Capricorn is making decisive decisions in the second week of this month. In the days until May we will all be acting on our impulse to feel secure in our homes, finances, or emotional lives.

On March 7, the same day as the new Moon, Mars is opposite Pluto. We feel this influence several days before and after the actual aspect. Somewhere in our lives we want to make an important statement or make a situation happen. This powerful aspect can lead us to take underhanded measures. Stay out of power struggles and keep communication open. This is a great energy for making positive changes, but those who use force and coercion get stuck in angry battles that backfire. Capricorn, Cancer, Aries, Leo, Pisces, and Scorpio especially are able to work hard and achieve terrific results.

Throughout March we feel Jupiter, in logical Capricorn, coming to sextile innovative Uranus on the 28th. This optimistic aspect has us using our noggins to achieve business goals. During the last four days of March both Venus and Mercury cross Uranus and sextile Jupiter. Payoffs and dividends come to many of us during these days. Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces are especially blessed with good news, good money, and goodwill.

Pluto, fresh to Capricorn, is trine Saturn all month. This behind the scenes aspect has many of us experiencing a sense of fundamental change in our lives. Just turn on the political news and you will see our youth awakening to the political process. Those who have not participated are now hoping for change. This easy angle is making all sorts of transitions smooth for us. Earth signs Virgo, Taurus, and Capricorn are especially laying a solid foundation for themselves now.

March 6 The Sun in Pisces is sixty degrees from Jupiter in Capricorn. Fish and goats are in an optimistic mood. Most of us have a positive occurrence somewhere in our lives. Since Venus is conjunct Neptune in Aquarius; we are willing to go the extra mile for someone special. Aquarius, Libra, and Gemini are the best signs to ask for favors as they feel charitable. All are wise to hold off for a few days before making decisions as we are not seeing most situations logically.

March 8 The Sun is conjunct Uranus in Pisces. Most of us need to think and act out of the box. Pisces, Gemini, Virgo, and Sagittarius are the biggest of renegades, but all of us will want to enjoy a bit of rabblerousing.

March 9 Mercury is conjunct Neptune in Aquarius. Our thoughts and words seem confused and muddled. Think before making decisions as the facts are not clear now. Those who are artistically inclined can accomplish a lot in the studio. Do avoid initiating legal matters as the results will not be to your advantage.

March 12 Venus enters Pisces until April 5. The spring catch is looking good. Our attentions now turn to expressing compassion. Now is the time to do something for someone else. Pisces, Cancer, and Scorpio are the ones to ask for favors while Gemini, Virgo, and Sagittarius may need a helping hand.

March 13 Venus, now in Pisces, is sixty degrees from Pluto in Capricorn. Somewhere in our lives we must deal with an intense relationship. Look beyond the surface to understand why the situation turns you on or agitates your sense of well being.

March 14 Mars, now in Cancer, is sixty degrees from Saturn, still retrograde in Virgo. Slow down for caution lights and other signals that tell you detours are ahead. Many of us feel less assertive and could use a bit of rest now.

Mercury enters Pisces until April 2. Our thoughts turn inward. Many of us are more occupied with our inner selves than what is going on in the world. Pisces is quite busy with plans and details. We may wonder why Aries is so quiet. Gemini, Virgo, and Sagittarius are busy dealing with details and have no time to chat over trivial matters.

March 15 Mercury, sixty degrees from Pluto, has us in a reflective. This is a good thing since Venus opposite Saturn has many of us feeling depressed over expectations that are not being met. Perhaps it is because your expectations are really limitations.

March 16 Venus, still in Pisces, is one hundred twenty degrees from Mars in Cancer. Relationship matters should go better than yesterday. Petty issues are easily overlooked especially for Pisces, Cancer, and Scorpio.

March 17 Mercury, in Pisces, is opposite Saturn in Virgo. News is not easy and many of us feel somber. Virgo, Pisces, Gemini, and Sagittarius do well to plug along with their burdens knowing that this gloom shall soon pass.

March 18 Mercury is one hundred twenty degrees from Mars. Get out that soap box and prepare a speech. Today is a great day for stating your case and asking for what you want. Others are impressed by those who have the guts to say what they mean and mean what they say.

March 19 The Sun enters Aries until April 19. This is the first day of spring. Renewal is our theme over the next month as we emerge from our winter hibernation. In the month ahead; Aries is their assertive self even more so than usual. Leo and Sagittarius feel confident in their moves while Cancer, Capricorn and Libra are challenged opportunities to grow.

March 21 The full Moon occurs in Libra at 1:40 PM CST. A full Moon in Libra compels us to find emotional balance in our lives. Since the Moon and Sun are both square Pluto this full Moon will prove to be a rocky time. Additionally, the Moon is square Mars late in the evening so this day potentially will be a high drama, door slamming, dish breaking day. Seek emotional balance and breathe.

March 24 Mercury is conjunct Venus in Pisces. After the drama of the full Moon this pleasant aspect is welcome. Business and communication go well. Those who are acting out of positive motives do a world of good and receive terrific rewards. Aquarius is financially blessed.

March 30 The Sun in Aries is ninety degrees from Mars in Cancer. Many of us will over react to minor events. Cool your jets to avoid causing more trouble than you already have on hand.
